The short answer: It depends on your family’s needs, energy, and what kind of experience you’re looking for, here’s a simple breakdown to help you choose the right fit.
What’s the Difference Between a Mini Session and a Full Session?

If you’re hoping for a relaxed, personalized experience with time to explore, play, and create a full gallery of images, a full session is the way to go.
Includes:
⏱️ One hour of session time
📍 You choose the location! I’m happy to guide you toward stunning local spots
🔄 Variety of poses, groupings, and backdrops (within one location)
💗 Ideal for neurodivergent families, or anyone who needs time to warm up to the camera
🖼️ Includes a $25 print credit toward your favourite artwork or prints
A full session allows for connection, movement, and storytelling—it’s perfect if you haven’t had family portraits in a while, or you want to capture a broader story of your family in this season.
🍂 Mini Sessions
If you’re just looking for a handful of updated portraits and love a simple, streamlined session, a mini is a great fit.
Includes:
⏱️ 20 minutes of photography time on a set date, at a set location.
📸 One set location/backdrop (such as fall leaves, holiday theme, or orchard)
👨👩👧👦 Multiple poses and groupings, but without changes in scenery
✅ Great for young kids with short attention spans, or families who just need “a few good ones”
Mini sessions are fast, fun, and still give you beautiful, frame-worthy images—perfect for holiday cards or an annual tradition.
