I've known Heather for a long time, having had many conversations about photography, the world and life in general, I knew there would be a style to photography that she would love when the day came that she was welcoming a little one into her life.
As she and Rodney prepared to welcome their little girl into the world, I was ecstatic to be able to capture their maternity photos, and even more excited when she asked if I was willing to do in home lifestyle newborn photos. Lifestyle photography is something that I ADORE shooting, but is not done as often as studio newborn sessions, and my hope is that it becomes more common.
Heading out for their maternity session, we were very unsure as to whether mother nature was going to cooperate- the weather had been awful in the weeks leading up to the session (hello mother nature spring rain tantrum!) and we were hoping for a sunset session. It was cloudy and overcast all day, but the sun started peeking out shortly before the session, and graced us with a beautiful pink and blue skyline!
2 weeks to the day of Miss Nora's birth, I packed up my gear and headed over to their house to capture all her beautiful little details- she was absolutely perfect!!
