Birth & Fresh 48 Packages
9 months preparing, to fall in love for a lifetime
As a home birthing mother of two, and a hospital induction birth of one, I have a deep revere for the birthing mother, the growth of a family and the welcoming of a new life. Being present to capture a birth is one of the most sacred jobs I am blessed to do, and is it my honour to document this momentous occasion in your life.
Given the variable nature of birth, I only book a select number of births per year, to give me the opportunity to capture the raw, real and beautiful photos of your experience.
Our birth package includes:
Photographer on call to you beginning at 38 weeks gestation
attendance at the labour location once active labour is established, until approximately 1-2 hours after the birth of the baby. I am respectful and delicate during your labour and delivery, to allow the progression of your experience as you wish and will be as invisible as you wish.
A password protected online viewing and ordering gallery of your images, delicately retouched to reflect the environment of your baby's birth in a real and beautiful way. Digital download of these images as well as a $25 print credit.
A Fresh 48 session is a wonderful option for families who want the first days of their baby's life documented, without the labour and delivery itself being captured. I come to your birthing location during the daylight hours, within 48 hours of the baby's birth. These sessions are captured in a journalistic/documentary style, without posing- just calm, beautiful moments of the baby's first few hours of life: meeting siblings, grandparents or other family members, leaving the hospital or a homecoming arrival.
Our Fresh 48 package includes:
On call to you from 38 weeks gestation until the baby has arrived
2-3 hour session time, in a documentary capture of the birthing location during daylight hours, within 48 hours of the baby's birth
5 image sneak peek within 24 hours of the session
full password protected gallery of images within 7 days of session
